GReminders supports all versions of Salesforce. This article is about the differences and nuances of Financial Services Cloud.

If you are using FSC you should use the SPECIFIC FSC Integration found here within GReminders Org Settings. Go to Org Settings > Integrations > Salesforce FSC

Salesforce Financial Services Cloud
One of the biggest differences between Salesforce “Proper” (Sales Cloud, etc…) vs Financial Services Cloud (FSC for short) is the notion of “Person Accounts”.
Person Accounts allows a single “Contact” to be promoted to an “Account” and they become one and the same.
There are also other types of “Accounts” which are defined using Record Types. All of this is fully supported by GReminders FSC Integration.
Person Accounts
If you are syncing Contacts back to GReminders, GReminders will understand Record Types and treat “Person Account” and “Contacts” as one and the same.

Interaction Summaries
Interaction Summaries are a type of “Meeting Module” that lets you capture various types of data from Meetings including Notes, Dates/Times, Participants, etc… They are “Events on Steriods”
When someone books a meeting via GReminders you can automatically create an Event Record AND an Interaction Record.
To set this go to Org Settings > Integrations > Salesforce FSC and check the Event and/or Integration Record boxes:

This will generate an Interaction Record for that Meeting
Furthermore, if you are using AI Notetaker to transcript/summarize meetings, you can then automatically push this record back as an Interaction Summary Record.
IF this meeting originated FROM a Meeting that was booked via GReminders AND you have the “Create Integration Record” checked, WHEN you writeback the Meeting Summary it will generate a new Interaction Summary Record and LINK it to the original Interaction Record.
If the web meeting did not originate from an Event on your Calendar, we will generate both an Interaction Record AND an Interaction Summary Record. Like this:
